The best junior baseball talent in the country will converge on Blacktown International Sportspark this long weekend to contest the Australian Little League Championships.
The event will take place over a massive six days, starting with pool games on Wednesday June 7 and wrapping up with the grand finals on Monday, June 12.
The winning team will secure their passage to the Little League World Series, to be held in Williamsport, Pennsylvania in the United States some time in August this year.
There will be a number of Sydney-based teams competing for the title, with previous champions Ryde Hawks (2021) and Cronulla (2020) both looking to return to the top, along with other former champions Hills. Last year's winners, Brisbane North, kick off their title defence on Wednesday against Canberra.
Fans can head to the venue or catch the action on a live stream hosted by baseball.com.au.
It's the first time the national event has been held at the Blacktown facility. While it was held in the Macarthur region in 2022, it had been held in Lismore for the six years prior.
