Dogs stun Dirty Reds to claim second win of the season; NSWRL Wrap

It's been a long season so far but the Canterbury Bulldogs have caused a boilover, securing just their second win of the season by beating third-placed Glebe in convincing fashion at Wentworth Park.

Seven different scorers crossed the line for the Dogs, epitomising the team effort on show.

Meanwhile, after enjoying a successful home stint that saw them rack up a respectable winning streak, the Silktails' return to Sydney is off to a poor start after the Hills Bulls ran rampant in their encounter.

Penrith Brothers put some breathing space between themselves and Mounties thanks to a double from Faleata Iosefa, while Ryde-Eastwood came within four points of ending St Marys' unbeaten run, but it wasn't enough as the Saints showed again why they're the competition's premier team.

The Saints were far less troubled in the Sydney shield, hammering the Hawks in a 12 tries to one demolition job, while Glebe winger Jake Tobin grabbed an impressive five-try haul in a big win over Moorebank. Hills Bulls have held on to second place after securing a narrow win over Cabramatta.
