The Mount Druitt Ethnic Communities Agency invites you to celebrate the cultural diversity of the town and strengthen connections at the 'Neighbour's Day' community festival, held to celebrate Harmony Week and Neighbour Day.
The event aims to help establish and strengthen relationships between community members and neighbours through various art forms including music, dance, dress, speech and sport, with a focus on the unique cultural elements that make up community and the commonalities we share that can unite us.
It brings together like-minded people and organisations to help grow stronger, better-connected communities while also creating cultural awareness and promoting social cohesion. With community connections waning, especially since the pandemic, there's never been a better time to get involved.
The event will be held at the Mount Druitt Swimming Centre from 1230pm, March 22. This is a free event.
