The Australia Cup Round of 32 draw has been released this week, with Mount Druitt Town Rangers learning their fate as one of four NPL NSW sides to qualify for the later stages.
The Rangers will play host to Canberra Croatia FC on August 4 at a yet to be determined venue - although the possibility of playing out of their usual home of Popondetta Park in Emerton looks likely.
The Rangers have progressed thanks to a number of dominant victories, with their most recent Australia Cup wins over Northbridge and Bulli racking up an aggregate 8-1 score line. It's a just reward for the green and gold, who had hit a purple patch in the state NPL with wins over Marconi, Western Sydney and Sydney United throughout May.
Despite glimpses of their best form, it's been a tough season for the Rangers who sit 14th in the 16-team competition, 23 points behind leaders APIA Leichhardt.
Of the other Sydney-based NPL teams to make it this far, Sydney United will travel north to face Newcastle-based Broadmeadow, ladder-leaders APIA Leichhardt will take on Goulburn Valley in Victoria, while Concord-based Inter FC will take on Northern Territory side Hellenic Athletic.
Western Sydney's A-League sides will be taking part as well, with Macarthur facing a qualification game against Perth Glory to secure their place in the next round, while the Wanderers will face WA-side Floreat Athena.
All Round of 32 matches will take place on August 4, with venues TBC for all fixtures.
