Ryde's strong start to the season has become a distant memory as the Hawks suffered their second consecutive defeat against St Marys. Led by a double to winger Jake Tago, the Saints' lead proved too much despite a late scramble from the visitors.
The Silktails are back in the winner's circle after a convincing display against the defending premiers at home, while Mounties continued their recent resurgence with a hard-fought win over Brothers.
Glebe put in the most dominant display of the round, heaping further misery on the winless Bulldogs. The Reds ran up 50 points thanks to a hat-trick to back-rower Jonah Ngaranoa. Reds centre Devon Makoare-Boyce padded his lead at the top of the point-scoring charts with two tries and five goals, taking his personal tally to 44 points for the season.
