St Marys have claimed the minor premiership in both the Ron Massey Cup and Sydney Shield competitions, with the Cup squad achieving a remarkable feat by going through the entire campaign undefeated.

The club saved some of their best performances for the final round, with a Jake Tago hat-trick helping them to a 50-18 victory in the cup, while the Shield team ran rampant in a 70-4 hammering of Cabramatta. Both teams will now enjoy a week off as the finals begin.

Wentworthville will be kicking themselves after missing out on second place. They lost to the last-placed Bulldogs in a stunning upset, which saw them overtaken on the ladder by Glebe, who beat Mounties. The Reds and Magpies will now battle it out in a qualification final, while the elimination final will be contested by Ryde-Eastwood and Hills.

The Hawks will come into the game refreshed after a final round bye, but the Bulls have been in good form of late, beating the Hawks by nearly 40 points just two weeks ago. The defending premiers have also been boosted by the talents of former NRL Centre of the Year James Roberts.

Meanwhile in the Sydney Shield the Bulls will face Brothers in a qualifying final after both teams finished on 26 points, while Cabramatta and the Hawks will fight it out in an Elimination final.
