If you can't make it to the game and your TVs are occupied with episodes of Bluey or Selling Sunset, you're probably looking for somewhere you can go to watch the 2023 State of Origin series kick-off on Wednesday (as well as Games II and III).

Thankfully, we've done some of the heavy lifting for you with this list of local venues who are all showing big game.

While nearly every pub in Sydney will have the contest on a screen in some capacity, we sought out the local venues doing a little more than just broadcasting, whether the venues have a unique affiliation with the players themselves, special Origin promotions or an amazing menu.

Drinkwest Brewery
Manufactor - 2115 Castlereagh Road Penrith

The DrinkWest Brewery is sure to sell out for all three games, so get in quick.

If you're in the Penrith area on gameday you can always take a trip to the brand-new Manufactor precinct to cheer on the Blues at a venue co-owned by NSW and Panthers halfback Nathan Cleary (as well as local UFC legends Tai Tuivasa and Tyson Pedro) - the popular DrinkWest Brewery.

The venue will be doing a pre-game Happy Hour featuring their own delicious beers, while also hosting live music and food trucks. Found within the brand new Manufactor Precinct, the brewery is also surrounded by a wide range of delicious eateries. Bookings a must!

Tedesco Inn
75 Argyle Street Camden

The NSW Blues' captain's local has been re-named The Tedesco Inn for the duration of the Origin series and we can't think of anywhere better to gather among the throngs of passionate Blues supporters and get behind the man himself.

The Plough and Harrow hotel will be known as the Tedesco Inn for the length of the Origin series.

You can also raise funds for a good cause, with official partner Tooheys donating 50 cents from every schooner sold to local rugby league club the Camden Rams.

Blacktown Inn (80 Blacktown Road Blacktown): The Blacktown Inn will be running a number of fun initiatives during the series, with $5 pizzas during every game, regular games and prizes to be won for punters and even a jersey giveaway during Game III - plus $4.90 schooners.

Mounties Sports Bar (254 Humphries Road Mount Pritchard): Situated within the Mounties club, The Sports Bar is offering tray service and promotions on Balter Beer, Jim Beam and Byron Bay Beer Towers. There are also specials on offer in the Brasserie, as well as Chinese and Vietnamese dining options.

The Sporting Globe (Westfield Mount Druitt): With an extensive bar menu, over 60 screens and a huge array of beer and beverages in a vibrant setting, you won't miss a second of the action. All Tooheys pints sold also go into the draw to win tickets to Game III in Sydney!

Tates Hotel (335 George Street Windsor): Take a seat in the beer garden or grab a bite to eat from their wide-ranging menu, then head down early for some pre-game Trivia. Punters can also enjoy the $16 Loaded Schnitzel Special - and then sleep off your victory celebrations in the hotel rooms upstairs.

Collector Hotel (100 George Street Parramatta): Recently refurbished with a 'state of the art' sports bar and TAB perfect for the big game, the Collector is also offering a beer and schnitzel game day special as well running a special scratch and win Origin merchandise promotion with VB.

Macquarie Hotel (269 Macquarie Street Liverpool): The iconic Macquarie will be running competitions and promos throughout the series, with jersey giveaways during each game as well as unique menu promotions - with Pizzas and Burgers on the cards for Game One.
